Materico, the durable and evocative architectural space

The new Materico trend is an endless source of inspiration introducing new materials that transform our indoor vibe. Granite, terrazzo, concrete, etc.

2021 marked the arrival of these materials inside our cocoon houses, with earthy and southern colors.

Design

This trend highlights raw, personal and intense colors.
The terracotta color, which has great depth, gives rooms a lot of character. To create a true Materico atmosphere, painting just one wall in this color can be enough. Shades of gold would capture the light and diffuse it.

Materico is a theme that is often based on retro-style geometry and colors, but it goes further by taking sophistication away from spaces. Scratched raw concrete, straw and mud covering, smooth stems with irregular shapes, brick facades, terracotta or fused cast basalt; contrasts between tactile and colored materials, transparency and opacity, shadow and light.
