Their focus was on safety, durability, and therapeutic design, particularly in the Observation Unit. The project addressed behavioral health needs by incorporating pick-resistant, easy-to-maintain surfaces and elements of "Positive Distraction." A key feature was the use of SPM Printed Wall Panels—dense, impact-resistant panels with high-resolution local photography digitally printed onto the surface. This innovative solution from Gerflor created a calming, visually engaging environment that supports patient well-being while meeting the strict demands of behavioral health design.
